I am no stranger to experimenting with hair color. I have sported every colour there is for as long as I can remember! Reds to blonde’s to cooper. This time around, I wanted to out grow the colour, more so out with the old!
I go by this one rule – “If you want to change your life, start by changing your Hair.”
I was way to eager, to change my hair colour. Finally, all that patience paid off. I got to try the trendiest hair colour of the year L’Oréal Professionnel’s range of INOA Mochas. #MochaMania has been the most sort after colour around the world especially in India, as it compliments our skin tone. The delicious Mocha is the perfect blend, and the soft yet cooler tone of brown suit the Indian skin. With expert guidance, the contouring and colour technique enhances the facial features. I had the best hair experts to get my hair coloured this time around. I received an invite from Ricky Tam, Salon Director of Rossano Ferretti at Ritz Carlton, Bangalore. Shiva Murugeshan, Hair Stylist/Colorist at Rossano Ferretti was all set to be the artist for the day and I his muse. I was at luck that I had Loreal Expert Ching Boi, Regional Technical Manager of South India L’Oréal Professional present too.
I have a diamond face shape, and hence we went in for the #MochaBalayage. To even out the hair colour and conceal grey’s (yes I am growing wiser) my hair roots were set to to a darker brown.

Post hair wash and blow dry, my hair got divided up into sections and set for the #Mochabalayage, contouring hair colour technique that gives a natural look. The colours used are Golden Beige (8.31) and Toffee Cream (7.23)

After about 40 minutes or so, my hair was rinsed out but conditioned with a power dose to lock in the colour and protect it with conditioning masque.
My hair is almost ready, and before I show off the colour, its time for a quick blow dry and style. I had none other than Ricky Tam take over.
It is visible on dark hair and has a Sun-kissed effect colour. This bespoke colour is definitely tailored to suit the Indian skin tone. It is the perfect brown hair colour.
