Makeup Geeks! This week I got introduced to some international products that you would love. With the holiday season upon us, it’s time to get Glam’d up.

I am very fussy with what goes onto my skin and the intensity of its long lasting power. I only share reviews if they are worthy. A big plus for me is will my skin breath, will it look too washed-out or cakey? I had the opportunity to get to try out the latest new age makeup from MyGlamm

MyGlamm have launched a new range of new age makeup which pretty much gets the thumbs up from me. The First Look

I had Priyanka from MyGlamm visit my home and get me looking all set to rock the night. You can download the MyGlamm App and select the services of choice.

I surprised with the less products the makeup artist had got. MyGlamm have come out with innovative ways to simplify our makeup routines. Compact yet multifunctional is what their range signifies. I have to admit am impressed. No more lugging around tons of makeup especially when we travel. The number of steps to apply makeup has cut down by half or 3/4th?

Priyanka went all out to give me a smoky look yet keep it very natural all over. Here is the makeover and products used

FACE

Start off by cleansing the face, and apply a light moisturiser.
No Makeup and All Set to look Glam
This is where we go with less steps – Total Makeover FF Cream Palette. – 5 in 1 foundation + Primer + Compact + Concealer all rolled into one. (3 shades are available as of now Dusky, Medium & Light).
Apply the orange tone/ corrector to conceal blemishes and dark spots. Dab the yellow corrector to correct the discolouration on your face.
Next apply the foundation all over your face for a smooth finish. Blend it and keep blending till the foundation is set.
Glow to Glamour – 2 in 1 Illuminating powder + Highlighter. This loose setting powder is a blessing, apply all over your face to set the foundation.
Chisel It – This palette contains – Highlighter + Blush + Bronzer. Perfect to sculpt and add some dimension to your face. Again two shades – Game face and Show stopper.

EYES

Stay Defined – 2 in 1 Liquid Eyeliner + HD Brow Powder – To enhance the look, we the brows have to be on point always. Well defined eyebrows accentuated your face.
All Eye Need – 3 in 1 Primer + Eyeshadow + Highlighter. You can chose from 6 variants – Mocha Loca, Velvette, Razzmatazz, All That Jazz, Picture Perfect, Dare To Wear. The eyeshadow is highly pigmented. Best for dramatic effects.
Jet Set Eyes – 2 in 1 Kajal + Eyeliner – A fierce black kohl that doubles up as an eyeliner and kohl. It glides as its creamy in texture and gives a matte finish.

LIPS

A look is not complete without the pout look fantastic

The Packaging

One word sums up the packaging – GLAM! I am a sucker for good packaging. As you can see, the sleek gold tint and mirror finish adds to its vanity. The lid of the palette has a large mirror and unlike other palettes, the top stays open so it’s great. Gotta love the little logo, of strokes applied. The Accessories are a plus point. The beauty blender, the blush brush and foundation and eye blending brush are my new favorite. Soft bristles and just easy to use.

My Verdict

I love how this turned out! The contouring was on point. My eyes were lit up from all that blue. This look was created with just Seven products.

The makeup stayed the rest of the night. Had to use a lot of makeup remover to take it off…especially the eyes. The lip colour was great, I had dinner and it still didn’t smudge that much. The brick brown, gave me a more natural look. I am going to buy the chubby lipsticks 🙂

The only thing I did notice is the staying power of the foundation. some did rub off on my hands when I touched it, yet, I still looked flawless so give that a pass. As that happens with many well known foundations in the market.

Tip – always highlight one part of your face, if you going for the eyes, then keep the lips very natural looking. Do not …I repeat do not go OTT. Remember less is more!
