An Asian Affair with Mikusu @ Conrad Bengaluru
For the love of food, any food. Being a foodie, I get over-excited to try out new dishes and places all the time. And when one of the most anticipated and most recently launched hotels in the city decided to invite me for dinner to savour the culinary delight of the East, I just could not resist.
Mikusu, located at the Conrad Bengaluru, is the latest buzzword. Bringing to you an exotic culinary blend of Japanese, Chinese and Thai cultures, authentic and elegant dishes celebrate the culinary artistry of the East. With its luxuriously crafted ambiance and soulful experiences, Mikusu promises to delight you with dishes imbued with a strong sense of the locale, paired with a curated range of exquisite sake and exotic Asian cocktails.
The open kitchen allows you to take a sneak peek into the dishes being prepared, the aroma and flavours were exemplary. All my senses had a feast. Here is a snapshot of an Asian Affair to remember at Mikusu.
Both pleasing and appetizing to say the least. The entire table was buzzing as they served beautifully plated dishes one after the other. Each dish in true style was made with fresh ingredients and served with utmost care and the theatrics didn’t stop there, from Ramen to the Sushi platter, to the final dish the dessert, and Jasmine tea to close a meal fit for a Queen!
As you can see from the images above, the food plating was exemplary and was as delicious as it looked! There is a wide variety to chose from Veg & Non Veg options. I tried everything that was curated for the night from the non-vegetarian selection – Chicken Ramen, Salmon Carpaccio (my all-time favorite and highly recommend you try this one), Chef’s Signature Assorted Sashimi Platter, BBQ Chicken Dimsum, Wasabi Prawns & Yakitori.
Overall a fantastic evening, great ambiance, lovely music, and some awesome company to make it an Asian Affair to remember at Mikusu. I have to definitely return soon to savour some of the dishes, blogging about it and updating the images has me craving for more!
