All Spiced Up with MacXPadma Lakshmi Collection
Since I started blogging, being online or in front of the camera has made me purchase some of the best makeup brands there are. I like a no-makeup look for day wear, but at times for events, adding a little goes a long way to look all glamorous. I usually end up stalking sites for hours and reading the reviews before I go ahead and make an investment.
MAC cosmetics never failed and always come up with a spectacular line. The launch of Mac and Padma collaboration was worth waiting for. After hearing the hype about it, and being the perfect blend for a brown skin tone. I couldn’t resist. I got my hands on the Blush duo and the powerpoint eye pencil from the capsule collection.
Padma Lakshmi – She needs introduction. A celebrity who is all about glamour, brains and super gorgeous top model. Mac Cosmetics was a perfect way for her to share her experience of having wear makeup in the past which was not suited for brown skin to have having her ideas come to fruition after three years with them. Suited for all skin tones, and is perfect from day to night glam just with extra strokes and touchup.
Packaging
The gold embossed design is stunning and looks very chic and luxurious. Now who doesn’t like good looking packaging to add to their collection?
Powder Blush Duo
Moon & Shine – This is a matte beige and frosted champagne highlight. Use it to contour and highlight or use a blend to create a nice dewy glow. A light and beautiful shade, creates a nice clean bronze look. Minimal is key and this is my new go to for day wear! The highlighter is just ideal for day wear and lasts all day long blending to give a very natural look.
Powerpoint Eye Pencils
The window to our soul, gets a perfect blend. The dual-ended pencil, perfect for both day to night look. Iced Heather/Kerala Sun contains a silver frosty shade and a pure gold for a metallic eye. Highly pigmented and just glides effortlessly. You can wear it as an eye liner or just use to create a nice shimmer smoky look for added depth.
